Nightie turned Day dress.

I recently guest posted for Madalynne. 

She is such an admirable person and I am so lucky to have met her.
I love her blog and feel honored to be a guest blogger!  

But I guess you are more concerned with why I am telling you that I am wearing a nightie right now.  

For my post for Madalynne I chose to turn a night gown I found at a thift shop and by tweaking it just a tiny bit I am now casually wearing it to work and no one finds it inappropriate.

I paired my new dress with a varsity sweater to play with the tough vs. soft aspect.
I added a belt to cinch my waist and wore navy tights and grey boots to add an artist edge since I do get to play with fabric all day at work (notice the fabric piles for swatching!)
